I’m Rebekah, a clinical research specialist with extensive experience managing and delivering research across NHS, university, and healthcare settings.

Throughout my career, I’ve supported research projects from early development through to delivery — helping teams navigate study design, governance, funding requirements, recruitment challenges, stakeholder engagement, and successful implementation.

My goal is to make research feel more accessible and achievable by helping clinicians, researchers, founders, and organisations understand the steps needed to move their ideas forward.

Academic Background

My Passion for Inclusive Research

I’m particularly passionate about making research more inclusive and accessible. Research should represent the communities it aims to support, and I’m interested in working with researchers and organisations who want to improve engagement with underrepresented and underserved groups.

My Research Experience

I have over 15 years’ experience working across clinical research, managing and delivering NIHR portfolio research within NHS and academic environments.

I have experience managing research across multiple locations including London, the Midlands, Manchester, and the South of England.

My experience includes:

Managing and delivering complex clinical research studies across multiple sites
Supporting study set-up, governance, recruitment, and delivery
Developing recruitment strategies and working towards study targets
Coordinating NHS, university, and external research partnerships
Managing research teams, supporting staff development, and overseeing projects
Working with researchers, clinicians, funders, R&D departments, and patient groups
Supporting funding applications, budgets, costing, and research planning
Translating research processes into practical actions for teams
